Run one command, paste a URL, and the extension writes DESIGN.md, the Tailwind theme, CSS variables, tokens, and a visual preview into your project. The site's extractor, in your editor.

Install

  1. 1Download source-design-vscode.vsix.
  2. 2In VS Code, open the Extensions panel and click the “…” menu.
  3. 3Choose “Install from VSIX…” and pick the downloaded file.
  4. 4Open the Command Palette and run “Source Design: Extract design system from URL”.

Not on a store yet, so it installs directly from this file. It talks to source--design.vercel.app and stores nothing.
